She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ira Brenneman and Grace Brenneman; her parents, Mae Sanderson Thomas Hockensmith and Harry "Red" Hockensmith; and her son Timothy Scott Allan.

She is survived by: her husband Garland Snyder; her siblings, Gary Hockensmith (Lynda) and Mary Rush; her sons, Michael James Allan (Celina) and Christopher John Allan (Melinda); her grandchildren, Eliza Allan, Delaney Allan, Olivia Allan-Downs (Chris), Clint Shepherd (Brittany) and Stephanie Shepherd-Snedden (Cale); and her great grandchildren, Brynn Snedden, Cade Snedden, Levi Downs, Penelope Shepherd and Gabriell Shepherd.
