He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lyons and Alice Lyons (Ferrebee); and his brother Rick Lyons. He is survived by: his partner Valrie Belt; his children, Kevin Lyons, Keith Lyons, Crystal Lyons, Jess Miller, Franklin "Sam" Spurlock and Samantha Lyons; his stepson Rusty Rice; and his siblings, Loretta Yutzy, Pam Cabe, Roger Lyons, Clifford Lyons, Blaine Lyons, Tim Lyons and Mike Lyons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Alexander Funeral Home PO Box 108 Millersburg, Ohio 44654 to defray costs.
