He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vaughn and Nellie Vaughn (McCauslin); his siblings, Effie Firebaugh, Ruth Lowe, Florence Cullen, Dorothy Carrigan, Mildred Weaver, Jim Vaughn, Fred Vaughn, Junior Vaughn and Charles "Butch" Vaughn; and his great grandchild Steven Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kaser; his children, Mary Beth Bowman (Gary) of West Salem, Tom Vaughn (Laurie) of Millersburg, Kevin Vaughn (Ruth) of Millersburg, Lisa VanSickle (Jeff) of Millersburg and Lorie Maxwell (Ron) of Burbank; his stepdaughters, Brandi Burt (Andy) of Pataskala, Ohio and Cari Toigo (Chris) of Plain City; his sisters-in-law, Liz Vaughn of Millersburg and Sharon Vaughn of Millersburg; and his pet Louie.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare or to the American heart Association.
