She was predeceased by: her grandmother Grace Felton; and her uncle Ricky "Flea" Felton. She is survived by: her parents, John Scott Jr. and Susie Felton; her siblings, Bradley Fair and Melody Moran; her boyfriend Chris Troutman; her grandfather John Scott; her uncles, James Felton (Jennifer) and Quimby Felton (Dawn); and her close friend Kathy Myers.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Dog Wardens Office in memory of Summer's love for animals.
