With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Hastings of Millersburg, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bigler and Alma Bigler; her husband Paul Hastings; and her sister Marilyn Bigler. She is survived by: her children, Jack Hastings of Wooster, Diane Freese (Steve) of Rochester, MN and Fred Hastings (Beverly) of Kingsley, MI; her grandchildren, Marty (Wanda Miller), Kimberly Hastings, Danielle (Brett Brown), Julie (Ryan Solomonson), Susan (Dan Shubert), Laura (Dan Bukstein), Arron (Kali Vasquez), Paul Hastings, Beth (Rob Demko) and Sarah (Hendrick Kok); and her great grandchildren, Cody, Kaylee, Austin Miller, Jillian, Evelyn Johnson, Katie, Peter, Anna Solomonson, Edward, Quinn, Cecelia Shubert, Benjamin, Sage Bukstein, Adam, Aurora Vasquez, Andrew, Charles, Abigail Demko, Caitlin, Katherine and Megan Kok.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund.
