He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Schie and Marguerite Schie (Barnhart); his wife Marcia Miller; and his sister Donna Schie. He is survived by: his children, Sydney Schie (Lisa McGall) of Loudonville and Susan Schie of Millersburg; and his grandsons, Grant Haun (Hallie Swonger) and Jeremiah Haun.
