He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel A. Balder and Mary Balder (Gerber); his son Kevin Lee; and his brothers, Thomas and William Balder.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Balder (Kaser); his children, Scott Balder (Teresa) of Millersburg and Karla Troyer (Bryan) of Sugarcreek; his sister Marlene Jones; and his grandchildren, Morganne, Logan Balder, Connor and Carson Troyer.
