He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph A. Straits and Caroline Straits (Kaylor); and his siblings, Ralph Straits and Catherine Lahm. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude E. Miller; his daughters, Shelley Costello (Eamon) of Plain City and Stephanie Moniger (Rich) of Millersburg; his grandsons, Declan and Conor Costello; his siblings, Charles Straits (Janet) of Millersburg, Mary Rose Cline of Albemarle and Ruth Ann Tomossetti of Wooster; his half-brothers, Mike Straits (Amy) of Coshocton and Rick Straits (Ryan Danner) of Columbus; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Straits of Millersburg, Susan Howman (Delbert) of Ashland and Dale Lahm of Millersburg.
