He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Brink; and his stepson James Cayhoe. He is survived by: his wife Verla Cayhoe (Smith); his stepchildren, Jodee Sonney (DJ) of Georgia and Jennifer Grassman (Erik) of Fredericksburg, Ohio; his stepdaughter-in-law Cindy Cayhoe of Millersburg, Ohio; his grandsons, Brent Garver (Kristina), Brian Garver (Erin Graham), Delbert Detty (Letha) and Brady Maurer; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Garver, Nathan Garver, Rhian Baker, Kobey Garver, Breklin Garver, Mireya Garver, Fisher Detty, Hunter Detty and Gunner Detty; and his siblings, Carl Zaugg (Debbie) of Millersburg, Ron Zaugg (Denise) of Millersburg and Donna Greenough (Rick) of Loudonville.
