It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freida Kandel Raber (Millersburg, Ohio), born in Corfu, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent John N. Miller; her stepmother Sarah Mae Miller (Kuhns); her brother Paul Miller; her stepsister Wilma Rose Hershberger; her brothers-in-law, Verton Troyer, Roy Chupp and Atlee Troyer; her son Michael John Kandel; and her granddaughter Katie Rae Kandel.
She is survived by: her spouses, John J. Kandel and John H. Raber; her children, Marilyn Hartman (Sanford) of Millersburg, Morris Kandel (Deborah) of Stevensville, MT, Maxine Frantz (Rick) of Massillon, Margaret Wengerd (Al) of Apple Creek and Martha Coss of Sandusky; her stepchildren, Ernie Raber (Delores) and Jim Shrock (Shirley); her siblings, Wilma Schrock (Harry), Mary Chupp of Wooster, Mark Miller (Dorene) of Wooster, JoAnna Miller (Aden) of Apple Creek and James Miller (Wendy) of Wooster; her stepsister Emma Troyer of Dalton; and her sister-in-law Verba Miller of Apple Creek. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.
