He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Adkins and Jacqueline Adkins (Cambridge); and his brother Donald Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Adkins (Gorley); his daughter Crystal Adkins of Newark; and his siblings, Darlene Shumaker of Newark, Debbie Hare (Ron) of Newark and Dan Adkins (Lisa) of Buckeye Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
