He was predeceased by: his children, Mary Shaw and Michael Shepard; and his brothers, Delbert and Howard Shepard. He is survived by: his children, Charles Richard Shepard (Sharon) of Mount Vernon, Rick Lee Shepard of Mount Vernon, Tina Marie Eberwine of West Lafayette, Tammy Caldwell, Danny, Steve and Jerry Shepard; his brother Bobby Shepard (Marie); and also Dale Shepard (Lou). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-granddaughter.
