He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Raber and Mary D. Raber (Miller); his spouse Clare Swartzentruber; his son Dennis Raber; and his grandchildren, Kevin Swinehart, Andy Williams and Alexandria Locke.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Raber (Linda) of Orrville, Dale Raber (Avonda) of Hartford City and Judy Umstead (John) of Millersburg; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Raber of Millersburg. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
