He was predeceased by: his father Isidore Schnipke; his daughter Amy Snavley; his brothers, Frank Schnipke and David Schnipke; and his brother-in-law Gerald Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Matt Schnipke (Jen) of Ottoville, Paul Schnipke (Kristen) of Leipsic, Mark Schnipke (Gina) of Leipsic, Denise Schroeder (Rob Sandwisch) of Leipsic and John Schnipke (Chris) of Leipsic; his son-in-law Steve Snavley; his siblings, Bernard Schnipke (Edna) of Miller City, Mary Ann Schroeder of Miller City, Greg Schnipke (Nancy) of Miller City, Lawrence Schnipke (Julie) of Miller City, Isidore Schnipke (Vicki) of Miller City and James Schnipke (Jan) of Ottawa; and his sisters-in-law, Bernadette Schnipke of Ottawa and Deb Schnipke of Miller City. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
