He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Milledgeville; his sons, Sandy Collins, Jeff Conner of Milledgeville, Angel Thomas (Philip) of Dudley and Mark Nix (Erica) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Emily Collins Szabo (Arnold), Michael Collins, Ayla Townsend, Mark Alex Nix, Jr., Erin Nix, Jessie Nix and Iris Nikki Hasty (Timothy); his great grandchildren, William and ClaraAnn; and his siblings, Jackie Boyt, Francis Hobbs, Donna Morton and Jay Nix (Ellen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
