She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Evans and Nina Frost Veal; her husband Floyd William Hornsby; and her siblings, Claire V. Quinn, Carol Lynn Veal, Louie Evans "Buddy" Veal, Jr. and Ernest Veal.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Hornsby (Kim) of Milledgeville; her stepdaughter Wanda Chambers (Gary) of Blairsville; her sister Cathy Grant of Macon; her siblings-in-law, Bill Quinn of Gallatin, TN and Jeri Veal of Milledgeville; and her grandchildren, Dianna Perdue, Lindsey Hornsby, Billy Chambers and Scott Chambers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hardwick Baptist Church or to Serenity Hospice.
