He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hendricks and Bertha E. Hyer Hendricks; his wife Shirley Kelly Hendricks; his siblings, Hazel, Donald, Raymond, Edward, Delbert, Alice and Gladys; and his half-brother Franklin Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Cox (Jon) of Jeffersonville and Dr. Michael Hendricks (Jeannette) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Alicia Dill (Nate) and Shayne Hendricks; and his great grandchildren, Roman, Macklin and Jovie.
