We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 92, Robert W. Spurgeon of Millbury, Ohio, born in Genoa, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Spurgeon and Mabel Spurgeon (Kindred); his former wife Norma Brokate; his wife Pat Glauser (Steveson); and his brother Donald Spurgeon.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Spurgeon, Jim Spurgeon (Hope), Terry Dippman (Dan) and Tracy Parker (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Spurgeon, Christie Henebry (Shawn), Dr. Elizabeth Spurgeon (Nathan Jones), Desiree Martin (Aaron), Kristen Keller (Daryl), Jacob Dippman (Dominique), Travis Fields, Sara Parker-Sitton (Mark) and Jodi Butcher; and his brother Jerry Spurgeon (Donna). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed in lieu of flowers to St. John's United Church of Christ.
