He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Hornyak and Julia Hornyak Sr. (Fekete); his son Richard Hornyak Jr.; and his brother Emery Hornyak Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Perlaky (John); his grandchildren, Spencer (Emily), Logan (Maegan), Brandi, Brittany, Brooke, Josh and Jared; his sister-in-law Connie Hornyak; and also Epiphany of Stephen's Catholic Church. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
