She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dean and Ada Sheedy; her uncle John E. Sheedy; and her parents-in-law, Lyle and Arlene Eckel of Perrysburg, Ohio..
She is survived by: her close friend Randy E. Eckel; her husband Randy; her son Jordon Edward; her mother Alice M. Newman of Doylestown; her siblings, Leslie Hookey (Scott) of Massillon and Michael D. Newman of Doylestown; her sisters-in-law, Cindy Mandell of Toledo and Denise Deppen of Perrysburg, Ohio.; and her close friend Wendy Wertz (David) of Norton. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews.
