With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Pappenheimer of Milford, Ohio, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laban Varner and Mamie Varner; her grandson Devin Butler; and her siblings, Wesley, Earl, Joe, Warren, Clifford Varner, Mary Pottinger and Etta Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Pappenheimer (Shirley), Sharon Butler, Lynn Grooms (Jon) and Steve Pappenheimer (Stacie); her grandchildren, Ian, Justin, Jason, Jake Pappenheimer, Kristina Johnson, Julie Goodman and Jill Snapp; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Claire, Anna, Leo, Alexis, Noah, Ava, Desiree, Charlie and Mila; her great great grandchild Mikaela; and her siblings, Roxie Bitzer, Faye Moss, Allen and Jim Varner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home - Milford (741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society.
