He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Day and Josephine Day; his stepmother Gertrude Day; and his brothers, Donald and Steven Day.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Day; his children, Laura Shelton, Anne Barger, Richard Day and Michael Day; his children-in-law, Wendell Shelton, Randy Barger, Selina Day and Cassandra Day; his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Brennan, Brady Shelton, Hannah, Alec Barger, Whitney Day, Cooper, Joseph Day, Luke, Noah and Ava Schibley; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Charlotte, Elsie and Andie Shelton; and his siblings, Mary Jo Luther, Kathy Allen and Tony Day.
