She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Gossage and Zilpha Gossage (Fox); and her siblings, Gaylord Gossage (Mary), Jean Eecloo (Don) and Hazel Wilson (Merwyn).
She is survived by: her husband Freeman Thornton; her daughters, Melody Farfsing (Edward) and Monica Boone (Mickey); her grandchildren, Daniel Muskopf, Rebecca Murray (Blake), Michelle Hart (Brad), Megan Hanners (Daniel) and Gary Boone (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Oliver Muskopf, Keaton Hart, Zane Hart, Lexi Hart and Augustus Hanners.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Serenity Baptist Church (9000 Cox Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Serenity Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
