He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Burton Hudson; and his siblings, Ollie (Owens), Lorraine (Muncy), Viness and Madelin (Simpson).

He is survived by: his son Rick Hudson (Paula); his grandchildren, Laura Hudson (John Harmon), Logan Evans and Caleb Evans; his great grandchild Stella Nesia Harmon; and his siblings, Wayne, Mary (Cummins) and Christine (Roy).
