She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Norton and Elva Norton; her husband Edgar A. Schmurr; her grandson John Schmurr Jr.; and her brother Bill Norton.
She is survived by: her children, Maggie Gilbert (Wayne), John Schmurr Sr. (Melody), Ed Schmurr (Shona), Julie White (Tim) and Christa Pendelton; her grandchildren, Beth, Brandon, Taylor, Payton, Jessica, Jacob, Emily, Cierra and Justin; and her siblings, Marilyn Hopkins, Benny Norton, Brenda Brown, Bobby Alsip and Tim Norton.
