With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirlean M. Smith of Milan, Ohio, born in Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Haslage and Betty Haslage (Branard); and her siblings, Brenda, Mary, Donna, Bill, James and David.

She is survived by : her husband Michael; her children, Amanda Smith, Ben Smith (Angela) and Nick Smith (Renee); her siblings, Marvin Haslage (Phyllis), Trace Thornton (Angie), Kathy Thorton, Linda Moore (Tom) and Barb Thornton; and her grandchildren, Gavin, Hayden and Harper Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edison Memorial United Methodist Church (10 Church St, Milan, OH 44846). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
