She was predeceased by: her father Michael Slota; her husband Arthur E. Chaffee; her daughter Ruth Sebolt (Donald); and her brothers, Raymond and Arthur Slota.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Conry (Dennis) of Norwalk, Arthur A. Chaffee (Jo) of Milan and Michael "Mick" Chaffee of Norwalk. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
