He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Simon and Lu Simon (Grote); his sister Karen Simon; and his brother-in-law John Blackburn. He is survived by: his sister Marie Blackburn of Muncie, IN; his significant other Martha Reineck; his nieces, Amy Spoerner (William) of Fishers, Indiana and Lisa Masters (Sean) of Yorktown, Indiana; his nephew John Blackburn of Muncie, Indiana; his uncle Norb Simon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, McKenzie, Morgan, Cabe and Emily.
