He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Earlene and Esther Potts (Tice); and his daughters, Lisa Marie Potts, Wendy Sue Potts and Sara Conway.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Potts (Tylke); and his son Jake Aaron Potts of Midvale.
