He is survived by: his wife Ferne VanVuren; his daughters, Angela Smith (Cecil) and Frances York (Scott); his grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Jeremy Smith (Ambria), Brennen Moore, Madison York, Ashley Bryant, Elisaha York (Matt) and Jessica York; his great grandchildren, Aliana Martin, Liam Bryant, Brook Little, Luis Vargus-Smith, Selena Vargus-Smith, Brian Vargus-Smith, Jaden Vargus-Smith, Peyton Carter, Preslee Carter and Packston Carter; and his sister Violet Osborn (Bob).
