He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Medley and Ida Alma Medley (Ross); his son Ronnie "Tiny" Douglas Medley; and his siblings, Roxie Leyes and Curtis Medley.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Medley; his son Don Medley (Kelly) of Midland; his grandchildren, Cheyanne Mountjoy (Austin), Olivia Medley and Ruger Medley; his stepgrandson Dylan Jones; his great grandchildren, Novalynn Mountjoy, Liam Mountjoy and Zannaleigh Jones; and his siblings, Bill Medley of Wilmington and Marilynn Willis of Wilmington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
