He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Flowers (McDougal); his grandparents, Samuel, Ezella Cardwell and Naomi McDougal; his aunts, Regina Wright and Antionette Franklin; and his uncle Ronald Cardwell.

He is survived by: his father Samuel Cardwell (Marilyn); his siblings, Tina Cardwell (Merlin), Nicole Watson (Guy), Marko Flowers (Abigail), Samuel T. Cardwell and Kevin Cardwell (Laura); and his aunts and uncles, Larry Cardwell (Denise), Steve Cardwell (Janice), Claudetta Johnson and Victoria Weathers (Michael). He is also survived by his stepchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (711 S 4th St, Hamilton, OH 45011). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
