He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hartbarger and Martha Hartbarger (Langdon); his son Danny Hartbarger; his former wife Nancy; and his sisters, Kathleen Thomas and Lois Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Miller; his children, Wendy Geis, Darrell Hartbarger (Wendy), Michael Hartbarger (Sandy), Sara Ghent (Jay) and Jodi Gibbs; his grandchildren, Shannon, Rob, Sean, Jesime, Jake and Noah; and his siblings, Don Hartbarger, Margie Banks, Ronald Hartbarger, David Hartbarger and Betty Henderson. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home (517 S Sutphin St, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
