She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Miriam Amanda (Lehman) and Rev. Elmore Otto Hoppe; her husband Malachi Sloan; and her daughters, Linda (Bruno Carlsson), Beth (Jeff Latsa), Kathy (Dru Henke) and Julie (TJ Harper).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Lutheran Church (10 N Breiel Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Karen's family asks that donations be made to New Hope Lutheran Church and designated as a Memorial Fund in memory of Karen Sloan.
