He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Floyd Keene and Julia Keene; and his siblings, Wallace, Vincent, James, Lee, Emily and Nancy.

He is survived by: his sister Lizzie; his children, Brenda Reed, Mary Ann McIntosh, Danny and David Keene; and his grandchildren, Wendy Farler, Shannon Reed, Angela Allen, Karrleah Cheesman, Zachary Keene, Erica Bostick, Brooke Alexander and Kristin Dixon. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

His commitment to his faith and his community was unwavering, and his contributions touched many lives.
