“Doug was such a caring, wonderful person. He used to help my father, Vernon Casperson on the farm during the summer. Daddy always said he was a hard worker. Both on the farm and at Ohio Bell. They both worked for Ohio Bell. He used to pull me around in a little wood wagon and we would also play with our dog. When he bought his first car he drove it out to the farm to show us. He was so proud of it. I also remember how excited he was about having a son. He was so proud of him. You have my greatest sympathy”
