He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Amburgey and Olive Amburgey (Hawley); his wife Rosalie Amburgey; and his siblings, Chester Amburgey, John Wesley Amburgey and Joy Hamrick (Wilson).
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Stratton (George) and Susan Amburgy; his grandsons, Joe Stratton (Nikki), Samuel Clay Amburgey and Sean Stratton; and his great grandchildren, David Stratton, Luke Stratton, Rooster and Daisey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home (6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
