He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Charles and Rosa Pauline Charles (Harbison); and his brother Larry Charles. He is survived by: his daughter Misty Trehane (Christopher); his granddaughter Scarlett; his sisters, Merry Kay Tipton (Fred) and Charline Creager; and also Lawanda Charles. He is also survived by three nephews, two nieces; four great nephews; three great nieces; and extended family and friends.
