He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Hughes; his parents, William Edwards and Corda Setters; and his siblings, Thomas, Glenn, Charlie Edwards and Bernice Whitby.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Edwards; his children, Wayne Edwards (Karla), Doug Edwards, Teresa Jones (Ron), Sondra Pressler (Tim), Sandy Hughes and John Hughes; his brothers, Willie Edwards (Carol), Pat Calhoun (Butch) and Dave Edwards (Brenda); and his pets, Noel and Joy.

In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children Research or a Hospice of one's choice.
