He was predeceased by: his father Jacob W. Detweiler; his daughters, Ruth Ann Detweiler and Marcia Detweiler; his grandson Robbie Detweiler Jr.; and his father-in-law Simon W. Gingerich.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Gingerich; his children, Miriam Detweiler (Ben), Robert Detweiler (Betty Anne), Christine Miller (Albert Ray), Laura Miller (Paul Allen) and Clara Mae Miller (Adam); and his mother-in-law Clara Gingerich. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 1 brother; 2 sisters, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
