He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Schwendeman and Eleanor Schwendeman (Tullius); his daughters, Terry Parnaby and Janice Schwendeman; his sons-in-law, Dana Parnaby and Steve Jonath; and his brothers, Charles, Francis and Roy Schwendeman.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Rusty Schwendeman (Rhonda), Steve Schwendeman (Kim) and Sharon Pilarczyk (Benjie); and his siblings, Paul Schwendeman, Gertrude Hall and Eleanor Fricker. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home (15670 W High St, Middlefield, OH 44062). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lucy Catholic Church (16280 Kinsman Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the Overlook Cemetery.
