He is survived by: his children, Jason Phelps and Joni Phelps; his grandchildren, Julius and Avery Asa-Marie; his sister Rosellen "Pinky" Rummel; his close friend Leo; and his former wife Susan Phelps. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
