He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Margaret; and his siblings, Dolores, Kenneth, Jacqueline and Lenore.

He is survived by: his wife Louise; and his children, Matt, Derek and Lana Bednarek (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
