He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Hardman and Beatrice Elizabeth Hardman (Porter); his wife Lois Marie Hardman (Grow); his brother Jack Hardman (Rita); and his brother-in-law Mark Stierhoff.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Hardman, William Hardman (Joyce), David Hardman (Ruthie), Donald Hardman (Jill) and Sally Stierhoff; his sons, Tracy Hardman (Amy Dixon) and Jason Hardman (Cate); his stepchildren, Bill, Kevin, Brian, Gary, John and Jamela; his grandchildren, Leander (Jessica), Heather (James), Morgan (Dustin), Brandon, Victoria (Quentin), Hunter, Reagan and Rowen; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Emma, Kennedy, James, Asher, Lavayah, Aurora, Miles, Amarin, Adalina, Onyx, Aizen, Atlas and Baby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
