She was predeceased by: her brother Leo (Carrie); and her parents, John Maksym and Camila Maksym. She is survived by: her siblings, Joanne (late Richard) and Slyvia (late Maynard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mary Lou's honor to Lucky Paws Animal Rescue.
