It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Lange (Middleburg Heights, Ohio), born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Lange; her parents, Charles Hayes and Kathryn Hayes; and her siblings, Mary Lou Mormando and Tim Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Salem (Ed); her grandsons, Michael and Alex Salem; and her brother Bill (Donna). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
For those who are moved to support Joyce's family in some way, it is respectfully encouraged that donations be made to Youth Challenge Sports - an organization that provides free adaptive sports and recreational activities to young people with physical disabilities in support of her grandson Alex or to Bethel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund where Joyce has been a faithful member for over 60 years.
