It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Paletta Sr. of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Angeline C.; his grandsons, Marcus and Joe, Jr.; his parents, James and Katherine; and his siblings, Gino, Anthony, Anna Zingalis and Pearl Gaspar.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah, James, Jr., John, Annette, Joseph (Rhonda) and Jack (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Tricia, Angela, Caroline, Katie, Jimmy, Jaclyn, Cody, Ryan, Jamie, Nickolas and Gina; and his siblings, Josephine Pease, John and Helen Vanderlinden.
