He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Dickman and Magdelina Dickman (Miller); his wife Helen "Susie" Rahrig; his sisters, Patricia Horstman and Viola Lambert; his daughters, Tina Marie and Kathy Sue; his brothers, Elmer, Art, Roger and Paul; his grandsons, Mitchell and Matthew Dickman; and his great grandchild Grace Randall.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Rist (John) of Middle Point, Mark Dickman (Vernice) of Middle Point and Michael Dickman (Sherry) of Van Wert; and his brother Bob Dickman (Myrna) of Crystal Falls, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held privately by Virgil's family due to the Covid pandemic.
Memorial contributions may be made to Middle Point Fire Department.
