It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Spinks of Miamisburg, Ohio, born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna R. Spinks (Tackett) and William E. Spinks; and his siblings, Edna W. Zawacki, Betty Johnson and William Spinks (Joan).
He is survived by: his brother David Spinks (Lucy); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Johnson and Joan Spinks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, Vernon donated his body to science.
