He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Mott and Deloris Mott; and his former wife Beverly. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his stepchildren, Ronald Roberts (Cate), Rebecca Roberts and James Roberts; and his stepgrandchildren, Gavyn Roberts, Ian Roberts, Aileen Roberts and Kendrick Roberts (Rebecca Shivadecker).
